A chatr data zone is the service area where Talk, Text and Data plans (inzone) are available. This includes the Greater Toronto Area, Vancouver, Montreal and many other cities across Canada. The perks of your plan can travel with you to any of these zones. Also, they offer only 3G data speed, which is totally fine for everything except showing off how fast your data speeds are to your friends. Sure it’s slower than LTE, but not that bad where you’re like forget this, I’m switching companies. There’s no comparison to Freedom with the signal, CHATR KILLZ FREEDOM!! I recommend Chatr because life is already hard enough. I got dozens of dropped calls, internet slowed down and just buffered most the time, if I went in a store forget it, It’s going to loose signal. More importantly, customers get lot of migration offers to Koodo.Apart from that, it is basically Rogers/Fido service under a different banner. I switched companies after finally realizing I’m paying for my own frustrations. There prices are fair with unlimited plans that Rogers and Bell can’t touch. I was with Rogers and Bell before too and paid around 5-0 monthly, and it still wasn’t unlimited. If you like regular speed, not slow, but regular and a great signal go Chatr. But seriously, how long are you on the TTC subway and why can’t you download something to listen to or go old fashion and read a book. Chatr has a larger service area, basically everywhere that Rogers gets service.Data is unlimited whether you're in a Home Zone or Roam Zone, the only difference is how much data you can download at full speed.Freedom Mobile phones connect at LTE so you'll typically get around 100Mbps until your monthly data cap, then throttled to 256kbps. There's also Lucky Mobile (run by Bell) that competes directly with Chatr.

Sure it’s slower than LTE, but not that bad where you’re like forget this, I’m switching companies. There’s no comparison to Freedom with the signal, CHATR KILLZ FREEDOM!! I recommend Chatr because life is already hard enough. When youre in Canada and in an Unlimited Local talk zone theres no charge for calls to numbers in your designated Local zone.If youre out of a Local talk zone, pay per use charges will apply for usage. As long as you start using your service in a chatr data zone and stay inzone, your usage is covered by your plan.If you travel outside of a chatr data zone, payperuse charges apply to talk, text and data usage.
